I started in this industry more than 25 years ago because no one taught my parents how to invest. They worked hard and were good savers, but they thought investing meant gambling and speculating with their money. This is a common misperception.
I love helping clients understand the true purpose of investing and helping them tune out the noise and distractions they face along the way.
You only retire once. But I have retired (by proxy) many times with clients. I know what works. I know the pitfalls. And I get immense joy out of helping clients design their retirement and then make it become a reality.
My family consists of my wife of over 30 years, four sons and three grandchildren. I love making memories with them – particularly going on vacation or enjoying Lake Michigan.
